My name is Chandani and I live in a suburb of Colombo, Sri Lanka with my husband and two sons. I am a journalist and completely book crazy which means I buy a lot of books but I have yet to read many of them. Despite that I re-read the books I like several times.
I really want to break free from the shackles of “everyday journalism’ that I ve been bogged down for far too long and am hoping being active on the blogosphere will let me put all the thoughts that run through my head into words. A blog is a great outlet for anyone who wants to express themselves using words, photos, videos or any other method and also gives the opportunity to share my views and connect with many people across the globe.

Hi.thanks for following me. I think blogging is a great way for writers to express themselves. I think conventional outlets especially in Sri Lanka are highly restrictive and do not offer enough chances for us to write what we really want to write.
